Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are your employees bonded and insured?

A. Yes. Our employees are fully covered under our insurance, which is provided by Pilot insurance - a renowned and trustworthy name in the insurance industry.

Q. Will employees clean my home?

A. We have an extensive training program that allows us to train and hire the best.

Q. Who will clean my home?

A. A team of one or two maids will be cleaning your home. Sometimes two maids work as a team.

Q. What if I find a problem with the service?

A. Every cleaning has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied, let us know within 24 hours. A manager will return to your home and personally clean the area in question. However, we do not guarantee where our supplies are not used.

Q. How do I pay you?

A. Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept Visa, Master Card, cash and cheques. Please make your cheques payable to A1 Superior Home Cleaning and insert in a sealed envelope. Please let us know if you would like us to provide you with envelopes.

Q. Do your workers accept tips?

A. Yes they do! Although our teams always strive to do their best, tips are highly appreciated by the crew.

Q. Is it okay to leave instructions on a note?

A. Of course it is! We believe that good communication is crucial to maintaining a good business relationship. We welcome all feedback, and if there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. You can advise us by e-mail or call.

Q. Do I need to be present while you clean, or can I issue you a key?

A. We believe that it is a privilege for us to be able to come into your home to perform our service. It is entirely up to you if you are there while we clean or issue us a key. If you should choose to issue a key, be assured that we take every precaution to protect your key. Your key will never be labeled in any identifiable way, and will be locked in our lock box.

Q. Do you charge a fee if your workers are locked out?

A. Yes. If the cleaning crew arrives to your home and we are not able to clean for any reason, you will be charged $25.00 to pay for gas mileage and the time taken to get to your home. However, you are not charged a rescheduling fee, so please call us ahead of time if changes with your cleaning are needed.

Q. Do I need to provide you with supplies?

A. No. We use our own supplies and equipment. Our cleaning professionals are thoroughly trained in how to use these supplies so that your house is left absolutely clean. We use Eco-friendly products, and we bring all of our own cleaning equipment!

Q. What happens if one of your employees get injured in my home?

A. Since we are a legitimate cleaning service, all of our employees are covered under our Worker's Compensation insurance. Almost all homeowner's insurance policies do not cover service workers who injure themselves in your home. However, if you speak with your insurance agent, you can add an additional rider to cover such accidents. If you choose our company, you will not have to incur the expense of the additional rider.

Q. What should I do if something is broken while your team is cleaning?

A. Accidents can occur. Please do not panic, or become verbally abusive to the team. Call our office immediately, and we will be glad to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.

The H2O Mop is designed to thoroughly clean floor surfaces such as marble, ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hardwood floors, and parquet.

The H2O Mop deodorizes, sanitizes, and increases cleaning power by converting water to steam. It also uses a microfiber floor cloth to enhance absorbency. When contact is made with floor surfaces, dirt and grime can be eliminated in a matter of seconds.

Since the H2O Mop uses the active power of steam without the use of detergents or soap, it is environmentally friendly.
